Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for reducing HCl emissions from a cement plant based on the treatment of a preheater 1 and/or a bypass gas stream, wherein the cement raw material as HCl absorbent is dispersed in the gas stream(s) from which HCl is to be removed. ; The cement raw material is introduced from the raw material mill 6 and/or the hangar 8 into a pipe with an upward gas flow; The pipes are characterized in that they are arranged in fluid communication at the point of the bypass line behind the gas conditioning tower 7 and/or before the particulate filter unit 5 and/or before the particulate filter 4.
