Abstract

Method for installing a gas transportation arrangement (1) on a seabed (2) between an offshore facility (3) and at least one further facility (4), wherein the gas transportation arrangement (1) comprises as components at least one gas transportation tube (9) and at least one weight means (10), wherein the gas transportation tube (9) and the weight means (10) are coupled prior to lowering the gas transportation arrangement (1) to the seabed (2), wherein a an electrical power cable (15) and/or a further tube (22) at least party filled with a liquid and/or solid medium is used as weight means (10) extending almost entirely over the distance bridged by the gas transportation tube (9).
