Abstract
The invention describes a thermal assembly (1) of a wind turbine (2), comprising: an external liquid-air heat exchanger (11) arranged to reduce the temperature of a liquid coolant in a coolant circuit (10), the coolant circuit (10) being arranged to deliver the liquid coolant to a plurality of heat sink members (23, 24) during operation of the wind turbine (2); and a thermal assembly control device (18) realized in an off-grid mode (M) of the wind turbine (2) self ,M wait ) During which the external liquid-air heat exchanger (11) is removed from the coolant circuit (10). The invention also describes an off-grid mode (M) self ,M wait ) Method of operating a wind turbine (2), the wind turbine (2) comprising an embodiment of such a thermal assembly (1).
