Abstract
The present invention relates to compositions comprising Bifidobacterium
lactis BL-04, methods
and uses thereof, for use in reducing risk of exacerbation of chronic asthma
in a subject affected
by a rhinovirus, by modulating the immune system in the subject by affecting
viral action and/or
viral effects in said subject, wherein modulation of the immune system
involves reducing levels
of one or more biomarkers in the subject.
