Abstract
A method and reactor for conducting exothermic reactions with parallel operated catalyst modules arranged in a stacking order within a pressure casing or jacket and adapted to axial flow of process gas through one or more catalyst layers and at the minus one layer of catalyst cooled by an intra-bed heat exchanger.
