Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing electrospun fibers, comprising the steps of v) dissolving a fiber-forming hydrophilic polymer in an alcohol selected from C1-C3 alcohols, vi) dissolving a bioadhesive material in water, wherein the bioadhesive material is dissolved in water. Adhesive substances have a solubility in water of more than 3 g/100 ml at 25°C or more than 10 g/100 ml at 25°C, and bioadhesive substances have a solubility in water of less than or equal to 0.5 g/100 ml at 25°C or 0.1 g at 25°C. vii) adding the solution resulting from ii) to the solution resulting from i) with stirring, having a solubility in an alcohol selected from C1-C3 alcohols of up to /100 ml, thereby producing bioadhesion. A homogeneous suspension is formed by precipitating the adhesive material, and the bioadhesive material is suspended as particles, and viii) electrospinning the homogeneous suspension to obtain hydrophilic fibers.
