Abstract
A separator system (10) to treat a gas (11) from a biomass gasification unit, said separator system (10) comprising: - a first cyclone (12) and a second cyclone (15), where said first cyclone (12 ) comprises an inlet for receiving a gas (11) from a biomass gasification unit (2), said first cyclone (12) being arranged to remove particulate matter from the gas (11) from the biomass gasification unit (2 ) to provide a first cleaner gas, - a conduit (14) arranged to conduct said first cleaner gas from said first cyclone (12) to said second cyclone (15), where said second cyclone (15) is arranged to remove matter in particles from said first cleaner gas to provide a second cleaner gas, - a tube (17) arranged to conduct said second cleaner gas to a special conduction element (19), said special conduction element (19) comprising a burner to heat the second cleaner gas and burning particulate matter in the second cleaner gas, thereby providing a third clean gas, and - a gas distribution unit (21) that may be arranged to conduct said third clean gas to one or more tar reforming units (30).
