Abstract
The invention relates to a method for breeding cannabis cutting, which comprises the following steps: -providing an adherent growth matrix comprising man-made vitreous fibres (MMVF) bonded with a cured binder composition, wherein the density of the growth matrix is 60kg/m 3 To 70kg/m 3 Is within the range of (2); -inserting the cannabis cut into a growth substrate at a location of the growth substrate where there are no seed holes; -providing hemp cuttings in said growth matrix with an Electrical Conductivity (EC) value between 1.6mS/cm and 2.4mS/cmIs a nutrient solution of (a). The method of the present invention results in increased yield by having a faster propagation process, more consistent propagation cuttings and a greater number of propagated cannabis cuttings that can enter the next growth stage.
