Abstract
A wind turbine (1) comprising: a tower (4); a foundation (14); a transition piece (15) arranged between the tower (4) and the foundation (14) and connecting the tower (4) to the foundation (14); a platform (19) disposed within the transition piece (15); a service lift (31) lowerable to the platform (19); and a permanent working platform (32) arranged below the platform (19) and at a distance (d) from the platform (19). Due to the permanent working platform (32), the service lift (31) is easily accessible from below. The labor and cost intensive installation of temporary scaffolding under the platform (19) is expendable. Advantageously, the work platform (31) can also be used for array cable installation.
