Abstract

The present application relates to methods for improving the total starch yield and/or gluten yield of corn kernels in a wet milling process, wherein the method comprises mixing by addition corn kernels or a fraction of the kernels. corn having an enzyme composition comprising an effective amount of one or more hydrolytic enzymes, wherein at least one of said hydrolytic enzymes is selected from the group consisting of a gh30 polypeptide, a gh5 polypeptide or a combination thereof.
