Abstract
ALLOY OF A THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE AND A POLYOLEFINE, AND, COMPOSITION. It is an alloy comprising polyurethane and polyolefin. It has now surprisingly been found that a specific composition of polyolefin and polyurethane has surprising mechanical properties and at the same time has transparent characteristics and / or appearance. The present invention provides an alloy with remarkable mechanical properties. The phases are not separated by macrophase. Thus, this stable and potentially wide interface is very effective in transferring stress when the alloy is tensioned. As can be expected, the stiffness values for the alloys are among the stiffness values for each component but the other physical properties are not as adjusted. Thus, when considering the mechanical and stiffness values, these alloys behave like two compatible polymers.
