A system and method for managing quotations for cargo distribution, comprising a terminal for receiving a quote request from a client and providing an output quote to the client, and storage for storing at least historical data associated with a plurality of clients, the historical data comprising at least historical quotations for each of the plurality of clients. A remote server receives the quote request comprising at least a client identifier and a requested service from the terminal; and retrieves, from the storage, historical data associated with the client based on the client identifier. The remote server calculates a quotation based on the quote request; and calculates an amendment to the quotation based on historical data by providing at least the quotation and the historical data to a trained machine learning model. The remote server transmits, to the terminal, at least the quotation and the amendment for further processing.
