GAS COMPOSITION ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM, METHOD, AND USE THEREOF

Provided is a gas composition adjustment system for adjusting a composition of a gas in a tank of a marine vessel. The gas composition adjustment system comprises an inlet fluidically connected or connectable to the tank for receiving the gas from the tank, an extractor for extracting at least some of a component of the gas received from the tank to generate a conditioned gas and a volatile fluid, and a conditioned gas outlet fluidically connected or connectable to the tank for supplying the conditioned gas to the tank. Further provided is a method of adjusting a composition of a gas in a tank of a marine vessel and the use of a gas composition adjustment system to adjust a composition of a gas in a tank.
