Abstract

The invention relates to an extruder comprising an outlet designed as a die (3) and a second outlet (4) arranged in front of the die (3). The invention is characterized in that the second outlet (4) is designed as a pressure control device for controlling the pressure on the die (3). The invention also relates to a method for controlling the pressure on a die (3) of an extruder. The invention allows the use of optimized dies on extruders for high-pressure applications.
