Device for waterproofing and flashing

The present utility model relates to a device for waterproofing a portion of an upstanding seam in a roof during waterproofing of a roof element, the roof comprising flat roof panels interconnected by the upstanding seam, and a flashing, the device comprising: a lower part comprising a planar member having an elongate recess extending in a longitudinal direction from a side edge, a raised wall extending along an edge of the recess, the raised wall extending to an upper edge of the raised wall, the raised wall providing a watertight connection with the planar member; and an upper member movable relative to the lower member, the upper member including a covering portion for covering at least a portion of the recess and a space between portions of the convex wall on both sides of the recess when the upper member is applied to the lower member.
