Abstract

This invention relates to a guitar assembly that is novel in that it can be easily mounted on a guitar without tools. When placed between the 5th and 6th frets on a guitar, the production can tilt down into the 5th and 7th frets. By tuning the guitar in an open chord, you can, without conventional grips, play three chords (eg C, F, G) that can be used to accompany many songs and melodies. If you tune in an open minor chord (e.g. Am which results in the chords Am, Dm, Em) a major V-step chord is often needed. Fitting the chord change object f) + g) solves this problem as it changes the Em to E. The chord change object e) + f) can also produce other alterations to the V-step chord, e.g. b9 in open major7 tuning.
