Abstract

Anti-theft protection for wristwatches when worn on the wrist. The anti-theft device consists of an elongated, non-reusable, flexible piece of plastic (Fig. 1, A) that can be folded around the watch strap or chain closure mechanism (Fig. 3, B), with adhesive function at both ends (Fig. 1, B+C ), which means that the ends can be brought together when the plastic piece is bent (fig. 6) around the watch strap or chain's closing mechanism (fig. 3, B), characterized by the fact that the plastic piece, after attachment, constitutes a theft protection for wristwatches (fig. 6) , which ensures that the lock of the watch strap or chain cannot be opened while the watch and the anti-theft device are on the wrist. The center of the plastic piece is not adhesive (fig. 1, D), which allows the anti-theft device to be attached while the watch is worn on the wrist. Two adhesive ends (Fig. 1, B+C) are each protected by a removable liner (Fig. 1, F+G) that allows the plastic piece to be attached to the clasp of the watch strap or chain.
