The first fluid passage includes: a spaced-apart upstream portion of the fluid passageway and a spaced-apart downstream portion of the fluid passageway. An upstream outlet port communicates with a fluid channel upstream portion of the first fluid channel and a downstream inlet port communicates with a fluid channel downstream portion of the first fluid channel. The upstream outlet port and downstream inlet port are in fluid communication by the fluid communication device. With the plate heat exchanger according to the utility model, the number of parts can be reduced.
