Climate grate

The present invention relates to a grate named a climate grate used to manage surface water in urban spaces and other landscaped outdoor areas. When in use, the climate grate is normally positioned in relation to an edge delimitation between a fortified area and a rain bed and may form a constraint through which water is passed. As a constraint, the climate grate may control the water flow at the transition between the fortified areas from which surface water is diverted and the rain beds which are water-absorbing. Via the climate grate, the flow of surface water may either be led directly to a sewage pipe or water may be led into a water-absorbing rain bed. In particular, the invention relates to a grate directing water to a receiving area, comprising an upward cover (1) which may comprise a first opening (3), a bottom (4) comprising a second opening (5), a wall (2) extending vertically below the upward cover (1) comprising a third opening (6), where the upward cover (1), the wall (2) and the bottom (4) together form an enclosed volume, wherein the upward cover (1) is releasably attached/fixed to the grate.
