Abstract

The invention relates to a compact container type battery energy storage system and a fire-fighting method. The invention adopts the design of the battery energy storage cabinet capable of escaping, so that the space in the container is fully utilized, and a two-stage fire-fighting response strategy of cooling and escaping is designed according to different development stages of the thermal runaway process of the battery. When the battery temperature is abnormal, the system starts a corresponding fire control strategy according to the battery temperature. The seven-fluoropropane spray cooling, the air conditioner cooling and the main control unit control the means of reducing the charge and discharge power of the battery pack or cutting off the charge and discharge current, starting the escape of the battery energy storage cabinet and the like are used for preventing the occurrence of thermal runaway or preventing the spread of the thermal runaway, so that the safe and efficient operation of the container type battery energy storage system is ensured.
