Abstract
This invention relates to a computer-implemented method of large-scale data communication, the method comprising: executing, by a run-time optimiser element (200), a real-time or ongoing determination or evaluation of a difference of data of one or more data structures (300), the difference of data due to carried out changes or updates to the one or more data structures (300), since a last offline update of one or more materialised views or database index (130, 131, 131’), executing a substantially real-time or continuous update of at least a part of the one or more materialised views or database index (130, 131, 131’) in response to the determined or evaluated difference of data of the one or more data structures (300), whereby the one or more materialised views or database index (130, 131, 131’) is maintained at least substantially in sync with the one or more data structures (300) after the changes or updates to the one or more data structures (300) has been carried out, and executing, by a channel execution engine (150), a large-scale data communication, directly or indirectly in response to input or data from the one or more materialised views or database index (130, 131, 131’) and from the one or more data structures (300).
