AN APPARATUS FOR THE TRANSFER OF COMPONENTS

An apparatus (100; 400; 500) for the transfer of components (802) from a first structure (804) to a second structure (806). The apparatus (100; 400; 500) comprises a first link arrangement (102a) comprising four or more links (104a-b) pivotally connected to one another; a second link arrangement (102b) comprising four or more links (104a-b) pivotally connected to one another; and two or more bearing units (106a-e) for bearing the components (802). Each one (102a-b) of the first and second link arrangements (102a-b) has a longitudinal extension (108a-b) extending in a longitudinal direction (110). The bearing unit (106a-e) comprises one or more bearing members (112) forming a bearing surface (114). The bearing member (112) has a longitudinal extension (120) configured to extend in the longitudinal direction (110). The bearing member (112) comprises first and second end portions (116, 118). At the first end portion (116) the bearing member (112) is pivotally connected to the first and second link arrangements (102a-b) while at the second end portion (118) the bearing member (112) is movable in the longitudinal direction (110) in relation to them.
