Abstract

The present invention relates to a method (100) of determining a wall thickness reduction, %WR (20) of a pipe (2) fixed in a pipe sheet hole (4) in a pipe sheet (6) by expansion. The method comprises an act of receiving initial inner diameter of pipe before expansion (10), outer diameter of pipe before expansion (12), inner diameter of pipe sheet hole (14) and final inner diameter of the pipe after expansion (16), and an act of determining the wall thickness reduction, %WR of the pipe based on the received diameters. The invention furthermore relates to an imaging system (1) for performing the method and a use of the method.
