AN INTERACTIVE ADAPTIVE MEDIA SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR ENHANCING INDIVIDUALIZED MEDIA EXPERIENCES

The present invention relates to an interactive adaptive media system and method for interacting subconsciously with a media system (1) for passive entertainment. It is an object of the invention to provide an interactive adaptive media system and method for individualized media experiences that adapts media content to a users psychophysical arousal level, based on real-time biometrical data information. The present invention addresses this by providing a computer implemented method for interacting with a me- dia system, wherein the media system comprises at least one media device for transmit- ting information and at least one sensor for retrieving biometric information, when plac- ing said at least one sensor on or at a user, such that the biometric information retrieved is at least one biometric information related to the user, and generating a biometric base- line profile from said baseline information, and storing said biometric baseline profile in a profile storage medium, and transmitting at least one frame sequence from said media device, such that the frame sequence transmitted is received by said user, and measuring a current biometric information related to the user using the sensor, such that the current biometric information measured is related to said frame sequence received by the user, and comparing and/or analysing said current biometric information relative to said baseline information in the biometric baseline profile using an analysis unit hav- ing analysing means, generating an updated baseline information in biometric baseline profile, such that said updated baseline information is related to the current biometric information, wherein said updated baseline information is stored in said biometric base- line profile in said profile storage medium, and generating a further frame sequence based on said updated baseline information in said biometric baseline profile, wherein said further frame sequence is transmitted from the media device to the user.
