This invention relates to a ventilation pipe covered with infrared film and phase-changing material that reduces energy consumption. A control box optimizes the time when the primary voltage supply (230V) is switched off, after which the phase-changing material releases stored energy to the ventilation pipe. The temperature can thereby be maintained without a primary voltage supply (230V), during the period when the phase-changing material gives off its energy.
