A practical storage box for the private kitchen that combines block cheese storage with block cheese slicing. The storage box's special cheese feed and the way in which the cheese box is constructed are characteristic of the invention and consist of a cheese storage box with a lid, in which a feed screw and a feed plate are mounted. The construction also contains a special cutting bar which, when turned, moves the cheese towards a cutting bar with a blade.
