Mixer

A mixing apparatus 200 for mixing building materials is described. The mixing apparatus comprises, in the orientation intended in use: a frame 2 extending in the vertical direction Y; a mixing vessel 4; a holder 6 configured to support the mixing vessel 4, the holder comprising a support member 8 for supporting the mixing vessel 4; an agitator 10 comprising a number of agitator arms 12; a motor 14 for stirring the stirrer 10; an elevation device 16; where the holder 6 is connected via coupling means 18 to the frame 2 in such a way that the elevation device 16, upon actuation thereof, is able to change configuration between a lowered position for the holder 6 and a raised position for the holder 6; wherein the mixing vessel 4 is configured to be removably arranged in the holder 6 therefore; where the mixing vessel 4 in a lower part comprises an outlet 20 in the form of a continuous opening 22; where the carrier element 8 of the holder 6 comprises a continuous opening 24; wherein the holder 6 comprises a valve 26 configured to be able to switch between an open configuration and a closed configuration; wherein the valve 26 in its open configuration is configured to provide a passage through the through opening 24 in the support member 8 of the holder and wherein the valve 26 in its closed configuration shields this passage; where the motor 14 is arranged in a position above the mixing vessel 4 when the mixing vessel is arranged in the holder 6 therefore; and where the stirrer 10 in the raised position for the holder is arranged in the interior 28 of the mixing vessel 4 when the mixing vessel 4 is arranged in the holder 6.
