Modeling a digital design of a dental prosthesis

A method for modeling a digital design of a dental prosthesis (2464) for a patient, said dental prosthesis comprising a gingival part (2466) and a dental part comprising a set of dental prosthesis teeth (1930; 2430), where the method it comprises: - obtaining a 3D digital representation of the patient's gingiva (1925, 1928); - obtain virtual dental models corresponding to the teeth of the dental prosthesis (1930; 2430); - virtually arrange the virtual dental models (1930; 2430) in relation to the 3D digital representation of the patient's gingiva (1925; 1928); and - generating a virtual external gingival surface of the gingival part (2466) of the dental prosthesis (2464), - selecting the virtual dental models (1930; 2430) from a virtual library comprising a set of dental models (1930; 2430) for the lower jaw (1928) and a set of dental models (1930; 2430) for the upper jaw (1925), where the set of dental models for the lower jaw and the set of dental models for the upper jaw constitute a pair that fit together and are arranged in occlusion.
