Abstract

Method for controlling a wind turbine, comprising the steps of:measuring a sound emission by means of a pressure sensor attached to the rotor blade;determining a turbulence intensity based on the sound emission;determining from the turbulence intensity one or more target values for at least one of the parameters selected from the group consisting of: a tip speed ratio and a pitch angle; andcontrolling the wind turbine based on the one or more target values,wherein the pressure sensor is provided on the trailing edge of the rotor blade or where multiple pressure sensors are provided and at least one pressure sensor is provided on the trailing edge of each rotor blade,wherein the turbulence intensity is determined in an evaluation unit and the speed of the rotor or the rotor blade is provided as an input variable for the evaluation unit, and where the rotor rotation speed is provided as an input variable for the evaluation unit,wherein the at least one pressure sensor is a fiber optic sensor.
