Wind turbine, comprising a tower (27) and at least one platform (2) mounted inside the tower (27), wherein the platform (2) only partially covers an inner area (26) of the tower (27) by forming a ledge along the inner wall (3) of the tower surrounding an inner opening (4) or by only covering a segment of the circle (30) defined by the inner wall (3) thereby forming an adjacent opening (29) formed as a further segment of that circle (30).
