AIR HANDLING SYSTEM WITH REVERSIBLE RECUPERATOR

The present invention relates to an air handling system for transferring thermal energy from a warm air flow to a cold air flow, the air handling system comprising a warm and a cold air flow passage comprising respective air inlets and air outlets operatively coupled thereto, a reversible recuperator comprising first and second flow chambers, said first and second flow chambers being adapted to form part of the warm and cold air flow passages in an alternating and repeating manner, and an arrangement for reversing the recuperator in a repeating manner. The present invention further relates to an associated method for operating the air handling system.
